Oh what fun it all was.
Following the enormous success of my multi-singular selling debut novel, MUDDY WATER, I was encouraged to get cracking with another page-turner. Or door-stop.
These things don't just come together on their own, you know - and it took many months of hard toil to bring the book out. Without the help of my publisher, editor, cover designer and friend David Roberts at Hornet Books, there's no way I could have got beyond scribbling down a few ideas for the storyline.
In 2018 it was done, and was launched in Wivenhoe in April, and Montolieu, France in June.
The characters who paid me vast sums of money to appear as themselves in the book showed up and made nuisances of themselves - just like I had hoped.
